Business Development Manager Education

To strengthen our business in the education segment, we are looking for a “Business Development Manager Education”. Like our BDM Education, you will develop and position products, solutions and services for the school sector and educational institutions. The purpose is to professionalize and create new ways of working in higher education where, among other things, distance learning and hybrid learning platforms are here to stay.

As BDM Education, you will be the link between our most important business partners, our sales staff and other operational functions.

As a BDM Education, you will be part of the Kinly Commercial team. You will be central in identifying new business opportunities with our partners, further developing existing engagement and developing strategies to increase the company’s revenue.

In this role, you work in and for our Norwegian business, but you will interact at different levels and create synergies with our global business.

The responsibility includes, more is not limited to:

  • Develop solutions and services for the education segment in close collaboration with Kinly’s product team and strategic partners;
  • Develop new customers in the education segment in close collaboration with Kinly’s sales team;
  • Stay up to date on trends and developments in the industry;
  • Maintain a close dialogue with the educational institutions; 
  • Analyze, develop and implement plans for strategic growth

Skills and personal qualities we are looking for:

  • Academic pedagogical thinking, relevant background from the education sector and / or other relevant background from the supplier industry;
  • You are passionate about technology and education and the intersection of these;
  • You are results-driven and know how to develop and build long-term relationships with both customers and suppliers;
  • Good communication skills, both in Norwegian and English orally and in writing;
  • Must be able to thrive in a hectic environment;
  • A reliable resource for colleagues, partners and the customer;
  • You work independently and motivate yourself.
